Description

– Located at 1664 Regional Rd 16 on Lot 5, Concession 4, Gainsborough Township, Lincoln County, the cemetery is on the west side of Port Davidson Road (Regional Road 16), just north of the intersection of Port Davidson Road and Silver Street (Regional Road 65).  On land owned by Jacob McCaffrey, this small cemetery was used by the congregation of the Wesleyan Methodist Church. Judging from the oldest monuments, burials appear to have begun at the site in the early 1860’s becoming less frequent after the 1940’s.

This document includes transcriptions for 33 known gravestones with additional notes and a few obituary details. The index shows 22 family surnames.
