Description

– Located beside 4238 William Street in the former Town of Beamsville, south of King Street (Regional Road 81 or former #8 Highway). Mount Osborne Cemetery was established by a cemetery company in 1879 and records show that the first burial took place in 1873. Responsibility for the cemetery was assumed by Beamsville Municipal Council in 1889, at which time it received its current name. Over the years, it was enlarged from its original tract which was located along the ravine on the west side.
