Description

– Located on the south side of Highway 3, between Empire and Pleasant Beach roads, on Concession 2, Lot 4 of Humberstone township. The small cemetery is still active though burials appear to be infrequent. The oldest monument is in memory of Mrs. Nancy Snider who died in 1904.

It has been known by several names. In its early years it was known as the “Sherkston Cemetery”, the  “Stauth Cemetery”, “Sherk Cemetery”, and the “United Brethren Cemetery”.
