Description

– Located at 209 Metler Rd. on Lot 4, Concession 5 of Pelham Township. (north side of Metler Road, east of Effingham Road before Bissell’s Hideaway) . This is a family burial ground for United Empire Loyalist George Hansel and related families: Stirtzinger, Moore, Overholt, Laws, McGlashan, Foss, Metler, Guinter and Beckett.

This document includes known transcriptions for 140 gravestones as recorded in August of 1981, reviewed in 1990, with excerpts of historical notes (P. Chitty) and transcription notes from 1964 (E. Summers, C. Taylor).  Both old and newer publications are included here,  (newer indexed by names, old publication indexed by gravestone number).
