Description

– Located at 32 Sullivan Avenue, the corner of Sullivan Avenue and Queen Street in the city of Thorold. A parish hall stands on what was once the site of the original burial ground. Only one grave remains at the church, that of Right Reverend Monsignor Timothy J. Sullivan, died 1922.  In 1962, the graves were moved to Lakeview Cemetery, Thorold. (see #4665)  where a portion of Lakeview, Section D, was set aside for the Roman Catholic re-interments.

This document includes a transcription for the one remaining grave at the church.  Also included –  notes from two earlier documents (c.1960’s, Peggy Willis, Esther Summers) with transcribed details from the original cemetery stones before the graves were moved to Lakeview Cemetery.
