Description

– Located on Lot 40, Concession 7, Wainfleet Township, at 84014 Wellandport Road (just south of the intersection of Canborough and Wellandport Roads. Situated on the south bank of the Welland River (also known as Chippawa Creek). An early Presbyterian church (1831) once stood on the land now occupied by the cemetery.

This document includes 390 known gravestone transcriptions (1984, revised 2011). The Niagara Peninsula Branch publication, C019 Attercliffe, Wellandport & Area Methodist / United Church Records (1919 – 1926) contains  BMD entries from six local parishes and also includes entries relating to burials at this cemetery and will be useful to researchers.
