Description

– Located at 3320 Garrison Road (Highway No 3), east of Ridge Road, beside the Memorial Ridge Mausoleum in Fort Erie Ontario. In 1865, the Methodist Episcopal Church building known as the Zion Chapel was situated across the street.  The Zion United Cemetery seems to have been used as a burying ground prior to 1865 as there are memorials dated 1827, 1831, 1841 for members of the Anger family.

This document includes transcriptions for 279 known gravestones (recorded 1966, 1982, 1995), with a list of 55 names/dates for TEAL family members buried here (from Clem Irvine) and notes from the Florence Neff-Young collection for 22 family names.
