Description

Edgar William VAUGHAN was an historian and genealogist in Windsor, Ontario in the early decades of the 20th century.  His grandfather’s middle name was BACON, thus his works are entitled BACON-VAUGHAN PAPERS.  He collected original copies of birth, marriage and death records from churches and varous government agencies long before there was anything called the internet.  He also collected newspaper articles which include birth, marriage and death announcements as well as historical, political and social events.
