Description

Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery is located on the east half of Lot 32, Concession 5, in King Township. It is on the west side of Jane Street  just north of the 19th Sideroad.

The cemetery was established around 1851 and was known as the Hilborn Settlement Cemetery. Over the years, the cemetery became neglected and was closed about 1905.  There are 7 free-standing markers; the rest have been mounted on a concrete wall.

The transcription, published in 1995, is 17 pages long and consists of a short history, photos, a map, the inscriptions and an index.
