In 2014 a total of 3768 burials were recorded in Espanola Cemetery. The earliest death inscription noted was for Mary (Gaudreux) Boucher dated April 12, 1904. Four German POWs were buried in the Espanola Cemetery. In 1970 the graves of the four were reopened and the bodies transferred to Woodland Cemetery in Kitchener where there is a German War Graves Section. One Japanese Canadian citizen, classed as an enemy alien, is buried in the Espanola Cemetery.
