Our 2023 publication recorded a total of 1,904 burials with the earliest noted death date October 17, 1914-Viola (Mooney) Patterson.

The initial St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Cemetery was established near the village of Cinottiville in Waters Twp. where now is the Copper Cliff Iron Ore plant. With INCO requiring land for expansion, St. Stanislaus cemetery was relocated to Lively in 1970 on land provided by INCO. Today, St. Stanislaus cemetery is administered by the City of Greater Sudbury.
