The information contained in this publication is designed to make it easy to determine whether a will appears in the land records and if it also appears in the records of the Surrogate Clerk.

Names are written as they appeared in the copy books. The date given is the registration date at the land office, NOT necessarily the date of the will. Types of instruments included in the index are : Administration (A) Codicils (C) Exemplification of Will (E) Letters Testamentary (LT) Probate (P) Wills (W).
