Description
Bruce S. Elliott, Dan Walker & Fawne Stratford-Devai
These lists identify and locate some 27,000 male inhabitants of Upper Canada, including officers and some reservists aged 40 to 60. The rolls constitute the closest thing to a province-wide census that survives for a genealogically difficult period, coming midway between the Loyalist influx of the 1780s and the first fully nominal census in 1852.
