Description

St. John’s 5th Line Church Cemetery is located on the west part of Lot 2, Concession 5, Markham Township, now the City of Markham. It’s on the east side of Warden Avenue, north of Steeles Avenue East.

In 1864, St. John’s Presbyterian Church and cemetery was established on this site. The church burnt down in 1929 and not rebuilt. The cemetery is now inactive and administered by the City of Markham.

The transcription, published in 1994, is 17 pages long and consists of a short history, photos, a map, the inscriptions and an index.
