Description

St Mark’s cemetery is listed among the inactive cemeteries in Colchester South Township situated on Dunn Road, Lot 17.  The cemetery dates back to the 1840’s making it older than the current church built in 1890.  It served the early Black pioneer settlers who came to Colchester Twp via the Undergound Railroad, many establishing homesteads in the 19th century.
