St Peter’s in Jeannette’s Creek, Chatham-Kent municipality (formerly Tilbury East Township in Kent County), Ontario is the second oldest Roman Catholic Church in Southwest Ontario.ย The church was built in 1802, and served the French families settled on the Thames River as well as the indigenous populations in the area.
This book contains:ย Mariages / Marriages – 1797 – 1995 and Sepultures / Burials — 1802 – 2013.ย The Baptisms have been removed due to privacy issues.ย A new Baptismal record will be added once the baptisms performed after 1924 have been removed.
The book has 320 pages. The MARRIAGES are presented in alphabetical order via the GROOM’s SURNAME.ย This is followed by an alphabetical list of the BRIDE’s which identifies her spouse so that you can review the full marriage record under the Groom’s surname.ย The Burials are listed in alphabetical order by the Surname of the DECEASED.
