Andrea Lister

Andrea is the principal of Absolutely Literate, focused  on researching and sharing community history. Andrea is a historian whose ancestors came from England, Ireland, Scotland, and Germany and settled in North America as early as 1620 and as recently as 1923. She was born and raised in British Columbia. Andrea works as a freelance editor and researcher and regularly writes and speaks about researching your family history. She is the winner of the 2025 Susan A. Hill Writing Award from the Genealogical Association of Nova Scotia.
