Description

St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery is located on the west part of Lot 60, Concession 1E, in the City of Richmond Hill. It is situated behind the church at 12125 Yonge Street, just south of Stouffville Road.

The church and cemetery were consecrated in 1856 as the Church of St. John the Baptist. The memorials inside and outside the church have been transcribed in addition to the grave markers.

The transcription, published in 1994, is 49 pages long and includes a short history, a map, the inscriptions and an index.
