Description
St. Paul’s Vaughan Cemetery is located on the east part of lot 21, Concession 7, Vaughan Township, now the city of Vaughan. It’s on the west side of Pine Valley Drive, north of Major Mackenzie Drive.
In 1844, a church and cemetery were established on this site on land purchased from Robert McBride. The original church was replaced in 1889 by the present brick structure. The Town of Vaughan acquired ownership of the cemetery in 1971 and placed a number of the old stones on a large cairn.
The transcription, published in 1994, is 42 pages long and includes a short history, photos, a map, the inscriptions and an index.
