Description

Presbyterian Free Church Pioneer Cemetery is located on Lot 23, Concession 6, Vaughan Township, now the City of Vaughan. It’s on the east side of Pine Valley Drive north of Major Mackenzie Drive West.

The church and cemetery were established about 1846. The church was once known as the “Aulde Free Kirk”.  In 1962, the grave markers were placed on a cairn by the Town of Vaughan and the cemetery records preserved in the Vaughan Archives in Maple.

The transcription, published in 1988, is 6 pages long and includes a brief history, a photo, an index and the inscriptions.
