Description

Pine Grove Congregational Cemetery is located on Lot 8, Concession 7, Vaughan Township, now the City of Vaughan. It’s situated on Islington Avenue on a hill overlooking the Village of Pine Grove.

A church, originally called Pine Grove Chapel, has been on this site since 1861. Many grave markers deteriorated over the years and in 1968, the Town of Vaughan placed the markers on a cairn.

The transcription, published in 1990, is 12 pages long and includes a short history, a photo of the cairn, the inscriptions and an index.
