Description

St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Cemetery is located on the west half of Lot 10, Concession 8, Markham Township, now the City of Markham. It’s on the south side of Highway 7, east of Markham Road.

It’s unclear as to when this pioneer cemetery was established but a small church was built on the existing cemetery in 1839. As of the publication date of the transcription, the cemetery was administered by the Cemetery Board of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in the town of Markham.

The transcription, published in 1996, is 80 pages long and consists of a brief history, photos, a map, the inscriptions and an index.
