Description

Quantztown Cemetery is located on Lot 15, Concession 6, Markham Township, now the City of Markham. It’s on the west side of McCowan Road, just south of 16th Avenue.

Burials began in this cemetery as early as 1844, and by 1860, a Christian Church had been built. Today, the church has gone and the cemetery is surrounded by modern-day development. The cemetery is closed and administered by the City of Markham.
