Description

Cooke’s Church Cemetery is located on Lot 22, Concession 5, in the Town of Georgina. The cemetery is behind Cooke’s United Church on Main Street in Pefferlaw.

The church dates from 1889, however burial records were lost in a fire in 1948. In an effort to restore the cemetery, the markers have been gathered to the south end of the cemetery but there are no records to indicate if the bodies were re-interred.

The transcription, published in 1992, is 11 pages long and includes a short history, a map, the inscriptions and an index.
