July 18, 2024 7:00 pm ET – sponsored by the Haldimand-Norfolk Branch

When you find yourself conducting genealogical research in the archives, you make use of many paper resources. These may include family files, maps, newspapers, and even yearbooks. But what if you could listen to your ancestor, or hear someone else mention growing up with them?
This talk will explore the growing number of oral histories that Haldimand Museums have been conducting and collecting and how to access and use them in your genealogical research. Learn what is available in our archives, and what is on the horizon for audio-visual materials.
