Description

Cedar Grove Mennonite Cemetery is located on the east part of Lot 4, Concession 9, in Markham Township, now the City of Markham. It’s on the west side of the 10th Concession Road, north of Steeles Avenue East, adjacent to the Rouge Valley Mennonite Church.

The cemetery was originally the Peter Reesor family burial ground. In 1868, the property was conveyed to the Mennonite church. The earliest grave marker dates from 1824.

The transcription, published in 1992, is 23 pages long and includes a short history, photos, a map, the inscriptions and an index.
