Description

Steckley Farm Cemetery is located on Lot 7, Concession 5, in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville. It’s on the east side of Warden Avenue north of the Bethesda Sideroad.

The first Steckley on record is Abraham who purchased this land for farming. Abraham’s son, born in 1795, was accidentally killed and was the first burial. The cemetery is near the fence which divides the Steckley farm from the Bolender farm. The cemetery sits on private property and permission is required before viewing.

The transcription, published in 1992, is 7 pages long and includes a short history, photos of the stones and the inscriptions.
