Description

Cemetery on the Hill (Nobleton) is located on the west half of Lot 6, Concession 9, in King Township.  It’s on the north side of King Sideroad 11, west of the town of Nobleton. The cemetery is also known as the Water Tower Cemetery because of the water tower which was once on the property.

This Wesleyan Methodist cemetery was established about 1849 as a family burial ground and abandoned about 1905.

The transcription, published in 1992, is 11 pages long and includes a short history, photos, a map, the inscriptions and an index.
