Description

Peach’s Church Cemetery is located on the east half of Lot 26, Concession 6, Markham Township, now the City of Markham. It’s on the north-west corner of McCowan Road and Elgin Mills Road East.

In 1863, Thomas Peach donated land on his farm for a church and cemetery. A Primitive Methodist church was established; the cemetery is to the south and west of the building. As of the transcription publication date, the cemetery was still active and maintained by the City of Markham.

The transcription, published in 1993, is 22 pages long and includes a short history,  photos, map, the inscriptions and an index.
