Description
Pingle/Pingel Burying Ground is located on the west part of lot 22, Concession 6, Markham Township, now the City of Markham. It’s on the east side of Kennedy Road between 16th and 18th Avenues.
The cemetery is on land once owned by Jacob Pingle. It is not known how many burials there might have been, but today there is one marker located close to the road, and maintained by the City of Markham.
The transcription, published in 1991, is 4 pages long and consists of a short history, a photo of the marker and the inscription for Jacob Pingle and his family.
