Description

St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Cemetery is located on the east part of Lot 10, Concession 6, in the Township of King. It’s on the west side of Weston Road, south of Sideroad 15, in the Village of Strange.

The land for a church and cemetery in Strange was purchased from Andrew and Mary Norton in 1853. The original pine log church was replaced by a stone building in 1860; the building is currently a private home. The cemetery was closed to further burials in 1958 and is administered by the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in King City.

The transcription, published in 1992, is 20 pages long and consists of a short history, photos, a map, the inscriptions and an index.
