Description

The St John’s Registers are housed in the Archives at the University of Windsor. In collaboration with the South Western Digital Archives,  members of the Essex Branch of Ontario Ancestors were allowed to scan these books for research and preservation. Katharine Ball of SWODA provided access and guidance in formatting, and generally reviewed the finished documents. There are 12 Registers from St John’s however these are the books used to compile these baptisms covering the following dates:
Book 6: Baptisms 1845- 1874
Book 7: Baptisms 1874-1897
Book 8: Baptisms 1888-1915

This document is in alphabetic order by the surname of the child and has 70 pages.  There is no index.
