Description

St. Philip’s Anglican Church Cemetery is located on the east part of Lot 17, Concession 5, Markham Township, now the City of Markham. It’s on the west side of Kennedy Road, north of 16th Avenue.

The Parish of St. Philip’s dates from 1790 with the settlement in Markham Township of Lutherans of German descent. The original church and cemetery were established in 1820.

The transcription, published in 1996, is 45 pages long and includes a brief history, photos, a map, the inscriptions and an index.
