Description

Brownsberger Farm Cemetery was located on Lot 2, Concession 8, in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville; north of the present house which is on the east side of Highway 48 north of Ringwood.

George Braunsberger and his wife settled on this land in 1826. George, his wife and two of their children were buried on the family farm. The markers were moved to Wideman Cemetery about 1916.  The stone  for an infant Brownsberger relative was moved to  Dickson’s Hill Cemetery.

The transcription, published in 1994, is 7 pages long and includes a short history, the inscriptions from the markers, and directions and maps on how to find the markers in their current locations.
