Description

Barnett Graveyard was established by Ambrose Barnett in his will of 1865 on the west half of lot 9, Concession 6, Markham Township.

In 1982, the Kennedy Road by-pass around Unionville was created and the cemetery was directly under the planned northbound lanes.  In consultation with family descendants, it was decided to move the remains to the Hagerman West Cemetery.

The transcription, published in 1990, is 6 pages long and has a short history, a biography of Ambrose Barnett, the inscriptions and photos.
