Description

Hagerman East Cemetery is located on Lot 6, Concession 6, Markham Township, now the City of Markham. It’s on the east side of Kennedy Road just north of 14th Avenue, and opposite Hagerman West Cemetery.

There was no church on the site or directly connected to it but names at the site would indicate it was the burial site for the Unionville Methodist churches which had no  adjacent cemeteries. As of the publication date of the transcription, the cemetery was still active.

The transcription, published in 1993, is 27 pages long and consists of a short history, photos, a map, the inscriptions and an index.
