Description

Baldwin Cemetery is located on Lot 13, Concession 7, in the Township of North Gwillimbury, now the Town of Georgina.  It’s on the north side of Baldwin Road, one mile west of the hamlet of Baldwin and Highway 48.

Joel Thompson donated the land for the cemetery in 1886. The earliest marker is dated 1892. The cemetery is non-sectarian and, as of the publication date of the transcription, is still active.

The transcription, published in 1992, is 24 pages long and includes a brief history, photos, a map, the inscriptions and an index.
