Description

Baptist Cemetery (Hammertown) was located on the west half of Lot 19, Concession 11, King Township. It’s on the east side of 12th Concession Road, south of Wellington Street.

It was situated next to the First King Baptist Church which was destroyed by fire about 1970. The cemetery was established about 1839 but is now closed and abandoned.

The transcription, published in 1992, is 9 pages long and consists of a short history, a photo, a map, the inscriptions and an index.
