Description

St. James Anglican Church Cemetery is located on Lot 2, Concession 7, of the Town of Georgina. It is situated on River Street in Sutton West. There is a fence along Church Street and the entrance is on River Street.

The land for the church and cemetery was donated by James Bourchier in 1850 and some grave markers date back to the mid-1850’s. The cemetery is now inactive.

The transcription, published in 1994, is 35 pages long and includes a short history, photos, a map, the inscriptions and an index. Also included are the inscriptions found within the church sanctuary.
