Description

Temperanceville Presbyterian Church Cemetery is located on Lot 5, Concession 2, in King Township. It’s on the southwest corner of the King Sideroad and Bathurst Street.

In 1853, James Stewart deeded a parcel of his land for a Presbyterian Church and cemetery. The earliest inscription is dated 1854. All the stones in this cemetery belong to the Stewart family and their descendants or in-laws.

The transcription, published in 1989, is 7 pages long and includes a short history, a map, the inscriptions and an index.
