Description

Christ Church Anglican Cemetery is located on Lot 6, Concession 7, Vaughan Township, now the City of Vaughan. It’s on the east side of Islington Avenue, north of Highway 7.

The Christ Church Anglican congregation was meeting on this site as early as 1843, and in 1851, a piece of land was donated as a burial ground. The earliest grave marker is dated 1851.

The transcription, published in 1994, is 49 pages long and includes a short history, photos, a map, the inscriptions and an index. Also included are the inscription on the windows and various plaques inside the church.
