Description

Thornhill Community Cemetery is located on the west part of Lot 30, Concession 1E, in the City of Markham. It’s on the northeast corner of John Street and Church Lane in the village of Thornhill. The cemetery was established about 1867 as a non-denominational burying ground for the whole district.

The burial register has been created from the plot burial cards kept in the cemetery office and transcribed into a spreadsheet.  Since the information is from the plot burial cards, the spreadsheet is in order by plot number so that those buried in adjacent plots can be identified.
