Description

Victoria Square Church (East) Cemetery is located on the west half of Lot 26, Concession 4, in Markham Township, now the City of Markham. It’s on the east side of Woodbine Avenue just north of Elgin Mills Road.

This site began as a burying ground for a local congregation of Primitive Methodists. There is no longer a church onsite. The earliest marker is dated 1839; the most recent marker is 1965. The cemetery is now closed to further burials.
