Ontario Ancestors has 35 Branches and Special Interest Groups (SIGs) across the province of Ontario, all established and run by volunteers. Joining one or more branches is a great way to get to know your fellow genealogists and to focus your research on a specific region or heritage topic.
Visit our Branch/SIG websites to learn more about their specific areas, interests and projects by clicking on the links below, or on the map to the right. CLICK HERE for a general listing of many Branch indexes and records – visit the Branch for more details.
Some branches have “Ext:” shown beside their name, to indicate their telephone extension on the Society’s telephone system. You can contact that branch by phone by calling 1 855 MYROOTS (855-697-6687) and then entering the extension number. These extensions lead to a voice mail system that will capture your message and email it to the responsible volunteer at that Branch.
