Description

Nashville Cemetery is located on the west part of Lot 24, Concession 9, Vaughan Township, now the City of Vaughan. It’s on the east side of Huntington Road, just south of Nashville Road.

The Zoar Primitive Methodist Church was built in 1855. In 1884, the church was closed and the cemetery became neglected. A group of concerned citizens paid for its upkeep in 1912, and in 1971, it was sold to the City of Vaughan.  As of the transcription publication date, the cemetery was still active.

The transcription, published in 1993, is 67 pages long and includes a short history, photos, a map, the inscriptions and an index.
